It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Joyce White of Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on August 1, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey James Lancaster and Velma Cynthia Lancaster; her husband Lester Hubert White; and her siblings, Eugene Lancaster, James Harvey Lancaster, Jr., William Lee Lancaster (Burt), Doris Harper and Dorthy Troutman.

She is survived by: her daughters, Mary White, Linda Jackson (Joe) and Joyce Butler (Jerry); her foster son Mac Yates; her grandchildren, Jay Butler (Linsey) and Brittany Butler; her great grandchildren, Maddox Lee, Collins Mae and Bodie Van Butler; her sisters, Ruth Culpepper and Tommie Ann Parker; and her friends, Bill, Sachiko Harris, Charlie, Wanda, Lexie, Lilli Peterson, Austin Milstead, Kim, Axton Alderson, Bailey McCarty, Harold Harper and Charles Harper. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; along with her special family.
