He is survived by: his son Danny Shannon; his granddaughter Keifer-Lee Shannon; his brother Butch Shannon (Dianne); his nieces, April Luke (Cary), Amber Joiner (Rob), Allison Autry (Rob) and Michelle Vice (Terry); his aunt Faye Culbertson; and his close friend Karen Davis.
