We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2024, at the age of 85, Martin A Watkins Sr. of Meridian, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Johnnie Mae Watkins; and his parents, Buddy Watkins and Rosa Lee Watkins. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Presson (Rickey), Susan Oglesby and Marty Watkins (Dawn); his grandchildren, Stephen Shelby (Samantha), Chris Winstead (Summer), Jason Franklin (Emmie), Gina Gunter, Josh Watkins, Matt Watkins (Stephanie) and Andrew Presson (Reagan); and his siblings, Sandra Watkins, Margaret Winstead, Arnold Watkins and Johnny Watkins. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews.
