With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maggie Jemison (Meridian, Mississippi), who passed away on August 3, 2019 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Scarbrough and Annie Rice Scarbrough; and her husband Edgar. She is survived by: her granddaughter Jynnifer Walker; and her children, Herbert Jemison of Flint, Mich. and Madge Mitchell (Wayne) of San Antonio, Texas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 19-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
