He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston James and Nannie Mae Bowden (McCann); and his sister Linda Faye Bowden Watson. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Bowden (KaSandra), Michael Bowden (Sara), Preston Bowden, Stormy Bowden (Jonaca), Summer Parker (Nick) and Marycatherine Duke; and his sister Judy Temple (Buddy). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes North (7774 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (109 Crescent Lake Rd, Meridian, MS 39301). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church Cemetery (109 Crescent Lake Rd, Meridian, MS 39301).
