He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Leon Ivey Sr. and Lula Mae Haddox Ivey; his children, Hubie Williams and Donna Lillis; his wife Virginia Louise Ivey; and his siblings, Ruth Wilkinson, Mary "Sally" Todd and Harlan "Moose" Ivey.
He is survived by: his children, Lori King, Darren Ivey (Penny) and Greg Ivey (Savannah); and his siblings, Edgar Leon Ivey Jr. and Linda "Sissy" Fielden. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
