He was predeceased by: his parents, Gursel Barnett and Ruth Barnett; and his sisters, Mabel Ruth Johnson and Dorothy Mae Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Eugenia Barnett; his sons, Johnny Barnett (Christy), Sidney Barnett (Louann) and James Barnett (Pam); his grandchildren, Taylor Davis (James), Rachel Walley (Alan), Michael Johnston (Margaret), Hailey Johnston and Allie Barnett; and his great grandchildren, Modi, Elijah, Rush and Maguire. He is also survived by three nieces and three nephews.
