He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Gail Ryals; his parents, James Ollis Ryals II and Anna Leigh Stewart Ryals; and his brothers, Russell, Erroll and Kerry Ryals.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Ryals (Beverly) and James Ryals IV (Beth); his grandchildren, Lauryn Ryals, Mandi Ryals, Madelyn Ryals, Aiden Ryals, James Ryals V, Warren Ryals and Pharren Abigail Ryals; and his sister Linda Scarbrough (Bruce). He is also survived by husband, and loving father, grandfather, and father-in-law, as well as favorite uncle to his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the College Park Methodist Church (1103 Hwy 19 N, Meridian, MS 39307). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
