George Rogers Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George Rogers of Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away at the age of 83, on December 29, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas and Annie Lou Rogers (Barnhill); his son George Elliott Rogers, Jr.; and his siblings, Duane, Johnny, Roy, Bernice, Evelyn, Ruth, Ruby, Lois, Willa and Margie.

He is survived by: his wife Patsy Rogers (Ward); his daughters, Susan Ponds (Kevin) and Jeanie Kastla (Rusty); his grandchildren, Kevin Ponds, Jr. (Leslie), Sarah Glover (Brett), Emily Walsh, Lucy Kastla and Chelsea Adair (Rob); his great grandchildren, Maddie Walsh, Ellie, Ben Glover, Ramona, Oscar Ponds, Ariana and Michael Adair; and his sister Ginger Ezelle (Rod). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
