Felton Amos Scott Jr. Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Felton Amos Scott Jr. of Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on January 5, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Felton Amos leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Felton Amos Scott Sr. and Minnie Louise Chatham Scott; and the mother of his child Ruby Carol Scott. He is survived by: his son Jason Scott (Laurie); his grandchildren, Ashley McDonald (Tyler), Joseph Garrett (Madi), Elijah Brooks Clark and Bailey Emmeryson; his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Elijah McDonald and Caden Garrett; and his sisters, Debbie Sturm (Mitch) and Joyce George (Jimmy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes (2514 7th St, Meridian, MS 39301).
