It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Bowden of Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Donald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Donald leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Haywood (Bob) and Katherine Sammataro Bowden; and his brothers, William Lawrence Bowden (Billy) of Perry, FL. and Robert James Bowden of Perry, FL.. He is survived by: his son William L Bowden; his sisters, Camillle Bowden Rawls (Lynn) of Tallahassee, Ann Bowden Huff (Clayton) of Perry, FL and Nancy Anne Bowden of Perry, FL; and his friend Samuel Arrowood of Meridian, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (2750 S Byron Butler Pkwy, Perry, FL 32348). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
