He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Allen and Bernistine Ferguson Allen; his son Joey Allen; and his siblings, Donna Lynn Allen and James Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Allen (Christian), Don Allen, Buddy Godwin (Donna), Donna Eakes (Ricky) and Margo Reed (Andy); and his siblings, Jackie Grimes (Charles), Linda Smith (Josh) and Robin Winstead (Buck). He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
