Charles Whitefield Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Whitefield Sr. (Meridian, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maggie Whitfield and Frank Young Whitfield; and his brothers, Frank Whitfield and Ted Whitfield. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Whitfield; his children, Claire Whitfield Tucker, Donna Whitfield and Chuck Whitfield (Sheri); his grandchildren, Reece Whitfield Tucker (Elizabeth Ruffin), Trey Whitfield (Leslie) and Briarman Whitfield; and his sister Margaret Wilks. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
