He was predeceased by: his wife Margie Ward; his son Charles Nelson "Chuck" Ward; and his parents, W. C. Ward and Pauline Ward. He is survived by: his children, David Ward (Viva Wade) and Doris Rayburn (Steve). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
