He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Thompson Batton and Doyle Batton; and his sister Cheryl Batton Holbrook. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rushing Batton; his children, Sonia Delane Batton Blackledge (Tommy Blackledge) and Jason Duane Batton (Christy Batton); his grandchildren, Brandon Gage Blackledge, Tyler Seth Blackledge, Ashlynn Brooke Blackledge, Kameryn Batton, Kayleigh Batton, John Russell and Justin Russell; and his siblings, Steve Batton and Kymble Batton Audiffred.
