Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Pearl leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John McDonald and Lydia McDonald; and her daughter Stephanie Melton. She is survived by: her brothers, Kenneth and John Anthony McDonald; her great-nephews, Kyndell, Wesley, Bradley, Cristian and Ollie; her niece Marissa Welch (Scott) of Braxton; and her nephew Jonathan McDonald (Lilliana) of Alaska. She is also survived by other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Stephens Catholic Church (594 Simpson Hwy 149, Magee, MS 39111). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
