She was predeceased by: her father Kermit Lee Rushing; her husband Frank Weldon Barrett; her parent Quay Strickland Rushing; her brother Kermit Rushing, Jr.; and her grandson Kody Bos.
She is survived by: her children, Andy Barrett, John Barrett (Pamela) and Amy Lee (Michael); her grandchildren, Brooke, Maya, Rachael, Anna, Lauren, Andrew and Lion; her sisters, Kathy Sykes (Rusty) and Joy Foster Harris; and her cousin Barbara Rushing Sweeney. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
