He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Franklin Stephens and Mary Louise Stephens (Beech); his wife Kathleen Stephens (Harvey); his sister Annie Stephens Charles; and his son-in-law Harold Ellis King (Hal).
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Stephens Milling, Christy Stephens Rotenberry and Mary Louise Stephens King; his grandchildren, Jennifer Rotenberry Grantham (Jonathan), Rebecca Kathleen Rotenberry, Natalie Jane Rotenberry and Matthew Stephen King; and his great grandchildren, Jefferson Joseph Grantham and Nova Grace Nichols.
