It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewel B. Ponder (Mendenhall, Mississippi), who passed away on February 21, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jewel B. Ponder to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband John L. Ponder; her parents, Oscar Bowman and Alice Bowman; and her brothers, Elbert Bowman and G. B. Bowman.
She is survived by: her children, Paulette Dyess (Neal), Shirley Walker (Thomas) and Mike Brown (Linda); and her siblings, Virgil Bowman, Hubert Bowman, Velma Letchworth and Daisy Williams. She is also survived by grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.
