He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Copeland and Wilma Burnett Copeland; his son Stephen Copeland; his brothers, John Copeland (Mary) and Billy Copeland; and his brothers-in-law, Alex Lovertich, Ray Walsh and Bobby Grantham.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Robinson; his daughters, Christina Busby (Jason) and Debbie Hocker (Roy); his siblings, Fred Copeland (Evelyn), Larry Copeland (Aldina), Lucille Lovertich, Wilma Walsh and Patsy Grantham; his grandchildren, Taylor Busby and Rylee Hocker; and his sister-in-law Sudie Copeland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
