He is survived by: his daughter Renee Whalin; his wife Gail Whalin; his grandchildren, Lindsey Walker and Rex Broadhead (Shelly); and his great grandchildren, Madeline Tebo, Riley Tebo and Dawson Walker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
