It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Ree Shook of Mendenhall, Mississippi, born in Magee, Mississippi, who passed away on March 21, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John David Shook, Sr.; her son Jay Shook; her parents, Pat Sullivan and Ola Meadows Sullivan; her parents-in-law, Eugene and Aubrey Shook; and her niece Abbie Burnham Bragg.
She is survived by: her sons, Josh Shook (Crystal) of Pass Christian and Jerimie Shook of Mendenhall; her grandchildren, Brandon Reniceker, Noah Shook, Emma Shook, Ruby Shook, Max Shook, Taylor Heffron, Nathan Gamble, Caydon Shook and Josie Shook; her siblings, Barry Sullivan (Tommie) of Braxton, Delores Bain (Jeff) of Puckett and Teresa Burnham (Jim) of Puckett; and her siblings-in-law, Terri Walters (Randy) of Biloxi and Bruce Shook of Biloxi.
