He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Welch and Virgie Welch; and his brothers, Willie Welch and Jessie Welch. He is survived by: his wife Ann Runnels Welch of Mendenhall; his sons, Bill Welch (Stephanie) of Mendenhall and Allen Welch (Shannon) of Mendenhall; and his siblings, Elizabeth Chalk (Lavell) of Mendenhall, Jimmy Welch (Rose Anna) of Mendenhall and George Welch (Janice) of Nashville. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren: 3 great-grandchildren; and host of nieces and nephews.
