She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Lee Sandifer and Cedonia Hollins Sandifer; her husband John L. Gray; and her siblings, Gussie Mae Camper, Robert Lee Sandifer, Otha Lee Sandifer and Rosie Lee Newsome.
She is survived by: her daughter Laster Ruth Norwood; her son-in-law Charlie Norwood, Jr.; and her sons, Charles Edward Tales (Leatrice), Larry Gray (Margaret) of Toledo, James Gray (Glenda) of Mendenhall, Mississippi and Anthony Walker (Niecy) of Mendenhall, Mississippi. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
