She was predeceased by: her husband Ellis Monk; her parents, Hillard Mack Boykin and Bessie Seymour Boykin; and her sister Debbie Lee Boykin. She is survived by: her daughter Samantha Monk; and her siblings, Bobby Boykin (Lisa), Bundy Boykin (Kim), Billy Wayne Boykin, Frankie Boykin, Marie Henley (Sonny), Ollie Stevens, Annie Dale Myers (Mitchell), Susie Hammack (Charles Billy) and Ruby Boykin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall Thursday (3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, Mississippi 39114). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Mendenhall Cemetery (469 E Court Ave, Mendenhall, MS 39114).
