He was predeceased by: his parents, George Allen McFarland and Elizabeth Ezell McFarland; his son Mark McFarland; and his siblings, Earline Alderman, Myrtle Reeves, Lucille Ludlow, Winfield McFarland, Harold McFarland, George McFarland and Sonny Laird.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy McFarland; and his children, Cindy Foster (Mickey) and Andy McFarland (Angie). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Landmark United Pentecostal Church. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Midway Cemetery. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
