He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Wilkinson and Nettie Ada Parker Wilkinson; his son Don; his sister Elaine Boone; his niece Beverly Boone Scarf; and his brother Alvie "Buddy" Wilkinson, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Mickey Smith Wilkinson; his sons, Otis Dwane Wilkinson (Pattie), John Darryl Wilkinson (Robbi) and Anthony Dale Wilkinson (Tracy); and his stepdaughters, Wendy Fortenberry (Jay), Cindy Conrad (Shannon) and Mindy Reynolds (Randy). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren with a great -granddaughter.
The family request memorials be made in Dwight's Memory to a charity of their choice.
