She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Mabel Laird Nettles; and her siblings, Marita Booth and Dewayne Nettles. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Ashmore, Jamie Ashmore and Michael Ashmore; and her siblings, Lorraine Smith and Lester Nettles. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
