He was predeceased by: his parents, George Houston Ashley and Edna Adams Ashley; his brother Dean Ashley; his son-in-law David "Tubb" Southerland; and his great grandchild Ramsey Kaye Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Ashley of Oakland Park, FL and Eileen Ashley Southerland of Meadville, MS; his grandchildren, Allan Hill (Stan) and Jordan Skinner (Tom); and his great grandchildren, John Dale Hill, Emme Skinner and Waylon Hill. He is also survived by his family and loved his children and grandchildren.
