He is survived by: his sons, Kendall Simmons (Tori), Kerry Simmons (Stacy) and Keenan Simmons (Erica); his grandchildren, James Simmons, Elizabeth Simmons, Destiny Simmons, Alissa Simmons, Jeanie Fasulla, Cameron Simmons and Skyler Simmons; his siblings, Patricia Simmons Carter and Charles Simmons, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Elaine Pitre Simmons.
