Lois Jones Bishop Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2020, at the age of 91, Lois Jones Bishop of McHenry, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Byron Jones and William Bishop (Doc); her parents, Joel Overstreet and Lillie Overstreet; her grandson Billy Jones Jr.; and her siblings, Alene Simpson and Oakley Overstreet.
She is survived by: her sister Myrtle Peters; her children, Larry Jones (Lynne), Billy Jones (Sherry), Elaine Ladner and Sue Rigdon (David); and her grandchildren, William Jones, Chris Jones (Tabitha), Danny Jones (Jackie), Renee O'Neal (Darel), Bobby Jones, Sherry Lynn Morris (Tanner), Julie Reves (Chris), Erica Nikbeh (Ali), Lloyd Colby, Mike Rigdon (Misty) and Angela Dudte (Ben). She is also survived by seventeen Great-Grandchildren and four Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery in McHenry, MS, on Sunday, August 9, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
