He was predeceased by: his parents, James Slade and Dorothy Slade (Wright); and his siblings, Frances, James, Frank and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Slade (Hittle) of Janice, MS; and his children, Tammy Sims (Jackie) of Janice, MS., Dorothy Slade of Janice, MS., Grady Slade Jr. of Janice, MS., Thomas Slade of Janice, MS., Valerie Adams of Janice, MS., Jeff Miller of Janice, MS., Iris Rasberry (Leonard) of Janice, MS., Randy Miller (Ronnie) and David Miller (Brandy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
