He was predeceased by: his parent Dee; his daughter Dr. Rita Worrell Tanksley; and his great grandchildren, Ryan Jackson, Peyton Gary and Paige Gary.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Worrell of McCool; his sons, Lewis Worrell (Maggy) of Valley, Alabama and Carlton Worrell (Kim) of Mobile, Alabama; and his son-in-law Earnest Tanksley. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
