He was predeceased by: his parents, James McDonald Watkins and Beatrice Lindsay Watkins; and his siblings, Tommy Watkins, Barbara Oakes, Minnie McDaniel and Lena Goza.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Watkins of McCool, MS; his children, Josh Watkins (Felicia) of McCool, MS and Cassie Holdiness (Kyle) of Noxapater, MS; his siblings, Bill Watkins (Shannon) of Raymond, MS and Charlotte Moore (John) of Weir, MS; and his grandchildren, Chelsey Thrasher (Josh), Erin Bell (Roy), Seth Keller, Gavin Keller and Keegan Watkins. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
