She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Lee and Mary Elizabeth Ramage Teer; her husband Ivy Willard Black; her brother Elbert Lamar Teer; her grandparents, John and Ida Joanna Crosby Teer; and her aunt Rosie Ann Teer.

She is survived by: her children, Julia Burchfield (Gary) of McCool, Kathy May (Dan) of Stephens City, Darlene Waltman of Hermitage, Martha Pruett (Billy) of Brandon, Betty Black of Brandon, Lee Black (Cathy) of Heber City, Louise Black Coogan (Kevin) of Jackson, Mississippi, John Black of Palm Springs, Karl Black of McCool and Karol Black (Laura) of Brandon, Mississippi.; and her sister Linda Miller. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and her only great-great-granddaughter.
