She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Kennedy and Gersel Files Kennedy of Choctaw County, Mississippi.; her husband Owen Gordon; her brothers, Hamlet M. Kennedy and Bobby D. Kennedy; and her son-in-law Dennis McKnight.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Gordon Cagle (Glenn) of McCool, Owen Gordon, Jr. (Marie) of McCool, Ruby Gordon Reid (Ronnie) of Ackerman, James Gordon (Jan) of Noxapater, Jennifer McKnight Kilgore (Steve) of Ackerman, Ralph Gordon (Junicha) of McCool and Robert Gordon (Donna) of LaGrange, Tennessee.; her grandchildren, Amy Cage, Jason Cagle (Krysten), Tommy Cagle (Shelia), Erik Cagle (Emily), Thom Gordon (Megan), Anna Marie McCullough (Jeremy), Andrea Eaves, Holli Mitchell, Allison Riley, Jamie Gordon (Jeni), Joey Gordon (Nancy), Tiffany Howard (Jesse), Rusty Garrett (Cindy), Valerie Wright (Stu) and Shannon Hamlin (Graham); and her sister Mary Nell Furr. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

In order for the family to follow the COVID-19 precautions in place under Executive Order 1466 of Governor Tate Reeves, the service will be private.
