She was predeceased by: her parents, Oree Philyaw and Mary Poole Faulkner; her son Tim Hutchinson; and her siblings, Wayne and Judy.

She is survived by: her husband Thomas Hutchinson; her son Tom Hutchinson, Jr.; and her siblings, David Philyaw and Melody Hammitt. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
