He is survived by: his wife Nell McKnight Black; his sons, Vernon Kelly Black (Marci) of Hobbs, NM and William Shane Black (Tammy) of McCool, MS; his siblings, Jerry Black (Connie) of Pascagoula, MS and Rebecca McKinney (Mac) of Kingwood, TX; his grandchildren, Josh Burns, Justin Burns, Lauren Keith and Logan Ray; his great grandchildren, Hayden Burns, Belle Burns, Brody Burns, Rusden Burns, Brianna Chunn, Jayden Chunn and Willa-Kayte Keith; and his great great grandchild Asher Burns. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
