He was predeceased by: his parents, Huston McDaniel and Mavis Bruce McDaniel; his siblings, Huston McDaniel, Jr. and Shelia Diane Brown; and his brother-in-law John Merrifield.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Cain (Robert) of Lexington, AL and Kinney McDaniel (Katina) of Ethel; his siblings, Lamar McDaniel of Kentucky, Ouida Mae Thrailkill (Percy) of McCool, Barbara Jean Lansdale (Charles Kerr) of Ocean Springs, Maxine Merrifield of McCool and Shirley Ann Romines (Franklin) of McCool; and his grandchildren, Brittany Cain Rose (Joe), Bailey Cain, Karmon McDaniel and Katelynn McDaniel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
