He was predeceased by: his father James Robertson; and his sister-in-law Virginia Walker Burrows. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Beard Burrows; his daughters, Carla Joan Burrows, Elizabeth Grace Janich (Paul) and Karen Casaday (Ken); his brother Dr. Robert "Bob" Burrows; his niece Barbara Willis (Turner Willis); and his nephew David James Burrows. He is also survived by numerous other step-children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
