She was predeceased by: her father Herbert Eugene Tays; her siblings, Anne Tays Lindsey, Bennie Eugene Tays, Marion Alexander Tays and William Edward Tays; and her nephew Sean Cox.

She is survived by: her husband Ed Griffin; her children, Anna Lister (Richie) of Nashville, TN, Miriam Bond (Will) of Madison, MS and Minor Griffin (Courtney) of Summit, MS; her siblings, Katherine Greer (Tom) of Cordova, TN and Herbert Eugene Tays, Jr. (Gene) of Booneville, MS; and her grandchildren, Owen, Benjamin Lister, Caroline Griffin, Leland, Norman and Andrew Bond. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to French Camp Academy.
