She was predeceased by: her father Elmer Julius Boyd; her husband Houston Cecil McKenzie Sr.; and her son Charles Ray McKenzie. She is survived by: her children, Houston McKenzie Jr. (Carla) of McComb, Margaret Russell (Bruce) of McComb and Glenda Johnson (Kenneth) of Hendersonville, NC; her siblings, Freddie Boyd (Judy) of Magnolia, Garland Boyd (Frances) of Summit and Johnnie Mae Earl of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, Blaisha McKenzie (Michael McKinney), Destiny Arellano and Vince Johnson (LaRinda); and her great grandchildren, Johnny Arellano, Joaquin Arellano and LaRiah Russell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
