She was predeceased by: her sister Shirley Hodges; and her grandparents, Earnest McGowan Sr., Robert Rembert and Norma Hodges. She is survived by: her parents, Dennis Hodges and Myrtis Hodges of McComb, MS; her husband Gregory Batiste, Jr.; her children, Damarcus, Gabrielle and Christopher; her nephews, Michael C. Hodges and Ryan A. McCurdy; her niece Ava E. Hodges; her father-in-law Gregory Batiste, Sr. of Fort Worth, TX; and her grandmother Sarah McGowan of McComb, MS. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
