He is survived by: his wife Ruby Hughes of McComb; his children, Tracy Creel (David), Misty Smith (Richie) and Lamar Hughes (Michelle); his grandchildren, Ashlee Rayborn, Sam Creel, Braxton Hughes and Dawson Hughes; his great grandchild Lynleigh Beth McDavid; and his siblings, David Hughes (Jeannie), Shelia Nettles (BJ) and Patricia Blalock (Wayne). He is also survived by nieces nephews and cousins.
