It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Elizabeth Sholter of McComb, Mississippi, who passed away on January 11, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Freeman and Joseph Genoa Matthews Freeman; her husbands, Claude Holloway, Sr., Jerry "Buckey" Dunaway and Charles "Charlie" Sholter; her daughter Donna Gayle Holloway Purvis; her siblings, Joe Freeman, Johnnie Freeman and Helen Cutrer; and her sons-in-law, Bobby Esposito and Bill Fitzgerald.
She is survived by: her children, Claude Leonard, William "Lloyd" Holloway (Elisha), Claunette Holloway Esposito of Chalmette, LA and Shawna Dunaway Rosellini; her stepchildren, Buckey Leon Dunaway of McComb, MS, Ken Sholter, Debra Dunaway Kemp of McComb, MS, Freda Hightower, Eddie of McComb, MS and Wanda Fitzgerald; and her sister Georgia Freeman Boyd of Tylertown, MS. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, -great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Due to the rise in Covid, and the CDC recommendations, the family requests that everyone wear masks and social distancing is observed.
