She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Bhyron Newman and Johnnie Lee Greer Newman; her daughters, Melissa Thornton and Frances Taylor; her son-in-law Ricky; her grandchildren, Amber Boone, Kristen Thornton and Abby Thornton; and her siblings, Wanda Taylor and Steve Newman.
She is survived by: her children, Chad Thornton (Sarah) and Sandra Wolf (Jack); and her siblings, Mark Newman, Gary Newman (Rhonda), Bhyron Newman (Leona) and Judy Bourgeois (Joe). She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
