He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edgar and Mayme Middleton Stevens; his daughter Mary Amanda Stevens McKay; his granddaughter Faith Lynn McKay; and his brothers, Gerald Stevens, Wayne Stevens, Jack Stevens and Rayford Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Winfield Stevens; his daughters, Lisa Lee (Scotty) and Lauri Gammon (Ernie); his grandchildren, Chelsea Fennell (Spencer), Philip Lee, Allison Gammon, Nicholas Gammon, Audrey Gammon, John Hammatt, Lindsey Hammatt and Tyler McKay; his great grandchild Emily Fennell; and his caregivers, Candy, Diane, Sydney, Corey, Wendy and Shannon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
