He was loved and cherished by many people including: his friend Pat Doyle; his sister Silvia Maria Montalvo; his son-in-law Dr. Roger Bradford; his father-in-law Benjamin "Hal" Reese; his wife Edie Reese Montalvo; his children, Dr. Gilda Bradford, Lillian Montalvo (Ken Hardy) of Austin, TX, Dr. Ray Montalvo Jr. (Julie) of Brookhaven, MS and Frankie Montalvo (Melanie) of McComb, MS; his stepsons, Reese Duplantis and Hal Duplantis; his grandchildren, Rachel Montalvo, Lilly Montalvo, Audrey Montalvo, Ella Hardy, Alex Hardy, Mia Montalvo and Ana Montalvo; his brother Juan Francisco Montalvo; his sister-in-law Hilda; his caregiver Robin Fenn; and his adoptive parent Terry Deer (Racings). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations are made to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church building fund (PO BOX 1105, McComb, MS, 39649).
