She was predeceased by: her parents, Hardy Levi Dunaway and Vetta Boyd Dunaway; her husband Jimmie Jewell Brister; her son Hugh Paul Brister; and her siblings, Charles Dunaway, Lexie Summers and Virginia Williams.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Jason Brister (Hope) of Medina, TN, Jared Brister (Christ) of McComb, MS and Joshua Brister (Ashley) of Brandon, MS; her great grandchildren, Justin Brister of Medina, TN, Dylan Brister of Abilene, TX, Kaleigh Brister of McComb, Jacob Brister and Jaycie Brister of Brandon, MS; and her siblings, Harold Dunaway (Masel) of Abingdon and Dorothy McGehee of Jackson, MS..
