She was predeceased by: her parents, William Deer and Mary Lou Tarver Deer; her husband James L. "Red" Linton; her daughter Stacy D. Linton; and her sisters, Irene Beason and Jo Ann Chunn.

She is survived by: her children, Carl Linton (Karen) of McComb and Denise Flippen (Randy) of Pine Grove; her grandchildren, Jeremy Flippen (Heather) of Pine Grove, Derek Flippen (Ashley) of Pine Grove, Jonathan Linton (Ashley) of Ellisville, Carla Newell (Cameron) of Wesson and Shannon Vessier (Landon) of Central; her brothers, Henry Deer (Karen) of Brandon and Jewell Deer (Judy) of McComb; her great grandchildren, Bethany (Garrett), Bevin, Raven, Savannah, Autumn, Bella, Charleigh, Eryn, Jane, Cali, Axel, Emily Grace, Avery, Anna Linley, Griffin and Ellie Parker; her great great grandchild Koa; and her grandsons, Landon Vessier, Jordan Linton and Cameron Newell.
